Been thinking about doing this as soon as I finished the inks so I just had to do it . I learn a lot from each new painting , I especially love pushing the anatomy and the grittiness. Couldn’t help but throw in a few background elements to give it some extra depth.

I spent some time working on this Batman inked drawing. Trying to move from pencil to pen and ink makes tighter lines and cleaner details. I wanted to draw this iconic character in my own depiction of Batman.

Cartoon Kingdom – Pictures

The signing event at Cartoon Kingdom in Windsor, Ontario had an incredible turn out. More than 350 people came out to see the artists, get autographs signed and talk one on one. There was a 2 – 2 1/2 hour wait outside the store all night and people didn’t go home until 10:15 PM. There was awesome press coverage of the event, and based off the timing it went national and was on the evening news across Canada! Look forward to doing another signing that had such a great turn out!

I attended the Graphic Fiction Forum in Windsor, Ontario. Along with Tony Gray and Jay Fabok, we had a Q & A with local fans and aspiring artists. It was also filmed by the Comic Book Syndicate show.
